Sunday, September 9th, 2007
Thai Airways International’s lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport received the Best First Class Lounge Award 2007 from Skytrax’s 2006/7 World Airline Survey.
Mr. Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax survey organization, said, “The new Royal First Class Lounge of Thai Airways at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport has the most extensive choice of options to satisfy passenger demand, and combines these facilities with exclusive staff service attention to offer what our respondents name as the world’s Best.”
THAI’s Royal Orchid Lounges at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport offers every facility for relaxation, refreshment, entertainment and for work. Features include private office and meeting rooms, telephone, fax and internet access, TV, libraries with international newspapers and journals. There are restrooms and showers, plus, for first class passengers, a Royal Spa providing two private therapy suites and sauna, exercise and yoga spaces.
The Word’s Best Airline Lounge Survey is commissioned and conducted by Skytrax Research of London. More than 90 different nationalities of survey respondents are represented in the final survey results.
