Tuesday, September 4th, 2007Malaysian Airline System (MAS) will start passenger and cargo flight operations at the new Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and cease operations at the Don Muang airport on Sept 28.
In a statement on Sept 26, MAS said it would operate only one of its three daily Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok return frequencies on Sept 28.
It said it would double the frequency on Sept 29 and from Sept 30, MAS would reinstate its three daily flights on the route.

It said MAS would also offer ticketing facilities at the new airport from 9.30am to 6.30
