Oman Air resumed its normal flights to Bangkok on Friday 5 December, as per the normal flight schedule.

Oman Air had suspended its flights on November 26 owing to the disorder that led to the closure of the two airports in the city. The Airline operated over 3 relief flights from U-Tapao Airport, and one from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Over 1100 Oman Air passengers have been evacuated.

Corporate Communications and Media (CC & M) Department of Oman Air said that after conducting a comprehensive security and infrastructure review of Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Airport, the company was now in full gear to operate its normal schedules. Oman Air has concluded that it is the right time to resume full Bangkok operations and announces resumption of full operations to Bangkok as per security clearances by Bangkok’s airport authorities. Oman Air had brought stranded Omani passengers from Thailand on November 29 and 30, also 1 December.
