Services at the new Suvarnabhumi Airport have greatly improved, according to Thai Airways International Flying Officer, Apinand Sum-na-sre-ra-nee.
In addition, the coordination between Thai Airways and Thai Airport Limited has been running smoothly.
The Head Committee at Thai Airways reported that 98 percent of flights between 1:00am and 6:00pm were on time. The 2 percent of flights that were delayed, were not delayed for more than an hour. More importantly, there were no reports of delayed domestic flights.
Thai Airways also assured that baggage claims were running efficiently. While 90 percent of claims were running on time, travellers were not delayed for more than 30 minutes.
